Maps are an ideal way to tell location-based stories. They reveal geographic relationships between parts of a story, and offer multiple types of user experiences, from self-directed exploration to guided tours.
Map Components
On the front end a map story has two main parts: the map overview and a place profile.
Map Overview This screen introduces visitors to the story, and typically provides a map of the featured places in your story. |
||
Place Profile This is a point of interest on your map. In this view, the map zooms in close to the profiled place. |
||
Place profiles can have an optional asset. If an asset is not included, the layout automatically adjusts. |
